Caden and Kelsey Carr are currently serving as our youth pastors. Caden and Kelsey met while leading worship at the Summersville Outpouring. Upon seeing Kelsey for the first time, Caden promptly rushed over to his childhood friend, who happened to be her sister’s boyfriend, and prophesied that he was going to marry her. His prophesy was fulfilled nine months later, on August 22, 2020, when they united in marriage.

 

Caden grew up in Oak Hill, WV, and was raised in a spirit-filled Pentecostal church. From the time that he was 12 years old, he began leading worship for his church. Since then, his worship ministry has grown. He manages and leads worship with his contemporary gospel group, “Worship Him Only” (W.H.O.); and has even released his own gospel EP, “Through the Storm”. Worship has opened the door into youth ministry. While helping to create and lead New Life Assembly’s youth worship team, he “unexpectedly” fell in love with the youth and youth ministry. Caden says, “My vision is to guide teens into a deeper relationship with Jesus, draw out and utilize their giftings and callings, and develop servant-hearted leaders.”
