About Our Pastor

Gene Campbell is currently serving as our senior pastor with over sixteen years in the ministry.

His commitment to the church has its roots that go back to 1979,  the year the church was established.  In addition, he was instrumental in the founding of New Life Christian Academy in 1985.  His wife, Margaret, served as principal for a total of sixteen years at the school.

Prior to accepting God’s call on his life, Gene was a successful businessman and later a professional artist. All that experience and his command of the Word has given him the ability to steward our church with excellence.  Many people call him the “walking Bible”.

His passion for the lost and the hopeless has been central in his heart for all these years. His deepest desire is to see people transformed through the renewing of their mind with the Word of God and to create an atmosphere for the presence of the Holy Spirit that draws men to Christ.

Margaret will tell you that her main contribution is keeping the daily pressures off Gene so he can spend his time in prayer and the Word.  In ministry, she often serves in the area of helps.  Whether it is taking care of organizational administrative duties in the background, establishing connections between people, being a catalyst, or helping women discover their gifts and God ordained destiny, she strives to remain a faithful servant and spiritual mother to those in need.

Throughout their years of ministry, they have provided counsel to individuals, couples, and families. Their heart is to see broken relationships, marriages and families mended.  They always desire the best for your life, continually lift you before the Lord, and are willing to walk with you through the trials of life.

He and Margaret have raised two children and have been blessed with four grandchildren.  The grands have captured the hearts of Gene and Margaret, and they adore them! By his own admission, Gene says that his biggest struggle is not being able to say “no” to his precious grand-babies
